You never forget your first time.  It all happens so quickly.  You’re a little drunk.  You feel wholly unprepared.  And yet you’re overwhelmed with a sense of excitement and pride.  The anticipation builds and then it happens.  You hear your name mentioned on a podcast.  But not just any podcast.  The Wright Stache was mentioned (quite positively) by Bill Simmons of ESPN.com.  Yep, our first time was with the prom queen.

In his March 23 BS Report, The Sports guy mentioned us at the one hour mark.  Go ahead and listen.  Fast forward to exactly 60 minutes in and take it all in.  As you can imagine, we’re thrilled and thankful.  But we’re also getting used to it.

You see, in just one week, The Wright Stache has garnered a tremendous amount of attention from various corners of the internet.  People are taking notice and that bodes well for the success of our mission.  Because we’re not in this for fame and faux internet fortune.

No, we’re in this for one reason and one reason only: To convince David Wright to grow a mustache.  So, we remain focused.  We remain modest.  We remain committed.
