What is The Wright Stache?
In between downs at a superbowl party this year, I asked Tueffel’s Stubble if he’d seen the fluff piece on Mets.com about how David Wright planned to spend this glorious American holiday at HoJo’s house. In his infinite wisdom, Teufel Stubble remarked that HoJo was probably just spending the entire time trying to convince David Wright to grow a mustache.
And the idea for this site was born.
Countless late-night brainstorming sessions, full-on fist-fights and a case of Olde English 40 Ounces later, we present to you TheWrightStache.com. Join us in our season-long quest to get David Allen Wright to become the latest and greatest in a long line of mustachioed Mets. He will do it. We will make it so. ‘Cause the mustache has mojo. Ya gotta believe!

Do you really want to add another thing that can get stuck in their throats causing another monumental choke?
I, Jimmy Rollins, have created the website http://www.thewrightstatch.com
It is a website dedicated convincing david wright to commit “statch” aka statutory rape on a underage girl in order to have him jailed and out of major league baseball forever.
Yours,
Jimmy Rollins, 2007 MVP, 2008 World Champion

You’re right. It definitely wasn’t that our All-Star closer went down, we didn’t have John Maine for the second half, and that the bullpen was the worst of any contending team in history. It was that the Mets choked. And it STILL took the Phillies to the last weekend to clinch.
But it’s always hilarious to see the Phillies can win a championship and still not be obsessed with the Mets cuz of their undying inferiority complex. thanks for the reminder.

Dear Jimmy,
Try getting your batting average above .200 and your on base percentage above .250.

Don’t let that idiot bother you. I don’t get why the World Champs are so obsessed with the Mets. You won the World Series, get over it, or come up with better insults you corn ball.

Aren’t mets fans worried a stray hair could fly down his throat and he could choke on it? He has a very sensitive gag reflex.

I saw some brilliant mets fans on the Youtube video “Guido Beach.” You guys must be proud. Good luck with your new stadium named after a failing bank in need of bailout money. Too bad the government has no interest in bailing out the Mets from the NL East, perhaps they could win in the NL West with the Padres and Giants.

Have you guys heard the news? I was the ONLY player from team USA to have been selected to the All-WBC team. Sorry David, perhaps a mustache would have propelled you to make the team as well. Maybe in 4 years?
Peace – JRollz
